Airtel Money Kenya has launched the ‘Rudishiwa Transaction Fee Campaign,’ aiming to reimburse customers’ withdrawal fees in the form of Airtime. Customers who withdraw a minimum of KES 50 from any Airtel Money agent will receive a refund on their withdrawal transaction fees, applicable up to the daily limit of KES 250,000. For instance, if a customer withdraws KES 1,000 incurring a KES 25 withdrawal charge, they will now receive Kes 25 as Airtime under this campaign. This Airtime can be utilized for airtime, data bundles, or SMS.
During the campaign launch, Ashish Malhotra, Managing Director of Airtel Networks Kenya Limited, expressed their commitment to creating products that address diverse payment needs. The initiative is seen as a way to assist Kenyans relying on cash transactions, promoting connectivity while offering savings.
The Rudishiwa Transaction Fee Campaign aligns with Airtel’s dedication to providing affordable products and services that enhance customer convenience and connectivity. Anne Kinuthia-Otieno, Managing Director of Airtel Money Kenya, emphasized the company’s focus on delivering unmatched convenience and value to customers through this campaign.
