Airtel Africa has appointed Network International as its payment processor. This partnership aims to enhance Airtel’s mobile services across Africa by leveraging Network International’s expertise in digital commerce, which spans 50 countries, including 40 in Africa.
Network International will provide a range of services for Airtel Africa, including transaction processing, card hosting and management, online fraud prevention, and internal reconciliation and settlement. This collaboration will enhance Airtel Africa’s digital payment services, offering users a seamless and elevated customer experience.
Ian Ferrao, Group CEO of Airtel Money, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting Network International’s deep understanding of the African market and its ability to drive innovation and digital financial inclusion. Dr. Reda Helal, Group Managing Director at Network International, emphasized the significance of this collaboration in serving Mobile Network Operators [MNOs] and supporting Airtel’s growth strategy across the continent.
