Collaboration will power the region’s future. That’s why Britam’s BetaLab has launched the Britam BetaLab Regional Startup Challenge 2025 a bold initiative to identify, support, and scale the most promising growth-stage startups in Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda.
We’re looking for established innovators ready to partner with a regional leader to redefine the future of finance, insurance, health, and beyond.
Who Should Apply
To qualify, your startup must:
- Be a legally registered entity in Tanzania, Uganda, or Rwanda.
- Have operated for at least two years.
- Be at Series B funding stage or beyond, with established products and revenue streams.
- Provide solutions in fintech, health tech, insurtech, consumer tech, agritech, or retail & supply chain.
If your innovation strengthens the insurance and finance value chain in areas such as distribution, payments, data/AI, underwriting, health & agri-rails, retail & supply, or claims we want to hear from you.
