Britam BetaLab has launched a 12-week pre-incubation program. They have selected six promising startups to tackle key challenges in Kenya. They will tackle financial services, including real estate, savings, SME financing, and healthcare.
These ventures, such as Zereba’s deposit-free rental platform and Medicod AI’s healthcare optimization software, were chosen for their potential to innovate in the finance and insurance sectors.
The Britam Betalab program offers comprehensive support, including business model development, product creation, market validation, and pitching skills. Moreover, this aims to help these startups scale and succeed.
Top performers may advance to BetaLab’s full incubation program. Partnerships with seasoned professionals, including Eddy Thiong’o and Dr. Matunda Nyanchama, provide mentorship and guidance.
“We are excited to collaborate with these talented entrepreneurs and support their growth journeys,” said Evah Kimani, Director of Partnerships & Digital at Britam. “Their innovative solutions have the potential to transform the financial services industry and improve the lives of Kenyans.”
