Vertiv Cools Down with BSE, Chinese Chiller Maker

Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure, has acquired certain assets and technologies of BiXin Energy Technology [BSE]. BSE is a Chinese manufacturer of chillers, heat pumps, and air-handling units. This acquisition aims to expand Vertiv’s chiller offerings and enhance its portfolio for high-performance computing and AI applications worldwide. Founded in 2010, BSE brings industry expertise, patents, and advanced technology, along with a strong presence in China and Asia.

BSE specializes in oil-free, magnetic-bearing centrifugal chillers with cooling capacities up to 5.5 MW. These chillers are designed for high efficiency, low maintenance, and quiet operation. As a leader in the Asia region, its technologies complement Vertiv’s existing solutions.

Since early 2024, Vertiv has partnered with BSE to produce Vertiv-branded products for the Chinese and Asian markets. BiXin Energy Technology’s certifications, including AHRI and CRAA, further enhance Vertiv’s capabilities.

“We are excited to join Vertiv and combine our expertise to deliver efficient and reliable cooling solutions for global data centers,” said York Zha, CEO of BiXin Energy Technology.

Vertiv brings together hardware, software, and services that deliver critical infrastructure to support the world’s vital systems. We specialize in creating resilient and sustainable data centers, facilities, and edge environments that deliver continuous operation for businesses and society.
