Gemini Live Launches on Galaxy S25, Offers Instant AI Visual Assistance

Samsung Electronics announced the rollout of Gemini Live. This is a new feature that brings real-time visual interactions with AI to Galaxy smartphones. The service launches this April on the Galaxy S25 series, available to users at no additional cost.

With Gemini Live, Galaxy S25 users can engage in instant, two-way conversations with AI. By simply pressing and holding the side button to activate the camera or share their screen. The AI sees what the user sees and provides live feedback or suggestions, transforming how users complete daily tasks.

  3. Get real-time input on organizing spaces, categorizing items, or making visual decisions.

“Gemini Live reflects Samsung’s commitment to practical, user-centered AI,” said Anthony Hutia, Head of Mobile Experience Division, Samsung Electronics East Africa. “By combining visual understanding with conversational interaction, the Galaxy S25 offers an AI experience that’s both useful and intuitive.”

Developed in collaboration with Google, Gemini Live is part of Samsung’s ongoing effort to make mobile AI relevant to everyday life, especially for users in East Africa.

Live Translate Enables Effortless Cross-Language Communication.

Smartphones are getting smarter very fast. Today’s top phones, like the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S25, now have a feature called Live Translate that helps people from different countries talk to each other easily, even if they speak different languages. For example, someone in Kenya can speak Swahili while someone in China speaks Chinese, and they will still understand each other.

Live Translate uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to instantly translate voice calls, face-to-face conversations, and text messages into your chosen language. This is very useful for business, travel, and everyday conversations, especially now that global trade is growing fast.

Samsung started this feature with 13 languages in the Galaxy S24, and now the Galaxy S25 supports 20 languages. Once you set it up with a person, the phone remembers your language settings for future conversations, making it even easier to use.

Experts say Live Translate is very accurate and quick, making communication across different languages feel natural. It’s not just about translating text like before. It’s about real-time voice and text translation that feels smooth and effortless.

This technology is expected to bring people closer, help businesses grow, and offer new ways to learn languages. By breaking language barriers, Samsung’s Galaxy AI is helping create more opportunities and better relationships worldwide.
