Google Cloud recently welcomed Noor Al-Sulaiti as the new Head of Security Business Development and Government Relations for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa [META] region. Known for her innovative approach to leadership, Noor brings extensive experience from the telecommunications and technology sectors to Google.
Her role marks Google’s continued dedication to protecting government digital assets in these regions. Noor will focus on expanding Google’s security services, enhancing cybersecurity through strategic public sector partnerships, and introducing CyberShield. This cybersecurity tool, designed for government agencies, emphasizes the importance of collective defense strategies against cyber threats.
Noor’s impressive background includes her tenure as the CEO of Ooredoo Oman, where she made history as the company’s youngest and first female CEO, driving the company towards a digital and customer-focused direction. Before that, she held CEO positions at Starlink in Qatar and was the general manager at Phono and FASTtelco in Kuwait. Her leadership qualities have earned her recognition as one of Forbes Middle East’s most influential businesswomen and accolades from other leading publications.
