Samsung Adds Kiswahili & Amharic to its Devices

Samsung Electronics has expanded its language support to include Kiswahili and Amharic, enhancing accessibility for millions of users in East Africa and beyond. This initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to inclusivity, ensuring a more seamless and personalized user experience.

By adding Kiswahili and Amharic, Samsung continues its leadership in localized technology, allowing more users to navigate their devices in their native languages. This update improves usability and ensures smoother interactions with Samsung products.

How to Change Language and Input Settings on Galaxy Devices:
To Change System Language:
  1. Open Settings on your phone.
  2. Select General Management.
  3. Tap Language & Region.
  4. Choose Add a Language and select Kiswahili or Amharic.
  5. Tap Set as Default or move it to the top of the list.
To Change Keyboard Language:
  1. Open Settings and go to General Management.
  2. Tap Samsung Keyboard Settings.
  3. Select Languages and Types, then Manage Input Languages.
  4. Download and enable your preferred language.
  5. Switch between languages by holding the spacebar or tapping the globe icon.

With this update, Samsung users in East Africa can now enjoy a more customized experience, making communication and device interaction easier than ever.
