LG Electronics has introduced Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos on its Smart TVs, including OLED and QNED models, through Apple Music. This feature makes LG the first to offer such an immersive audio experience on smart TVs. Starting this week, LG Smart TV users worldwide can enjoy three months of Apple Music for free, available on models from 2018 onwards with webOS 4.0 or higher.
Apple Music offers an ad-free experience with over 100 million songs, 30,000 playlists, and exclusive content like live concerts and interviews. LG Smart TV owners can access Apple Music via voice command, the LG Content Store, or the Music Quick Card on the home screen.
Dolby Atmos tracks on Apple Music play automatically on compatible LG TVs, providing superior clarity and depth. The experience is enhanced further when connected to Dolby Atmos-enabled LG soundbars, which harmonize the sound for an unparalleled listening experience. For TVs not supporting Dolby Atmos, users can still enjoy this advanced sound by connecting to a Dolby Atmos LG soundbar.
