Open Access Data Centres [OADC], Africa’s rapidly growing data centre company, is set to launch OAfabric. This is an open-access digital platform to enhance interconnection across Africa. Starting in January 2025 in Nigeria and the DRC, OAfabric will support businesses by reducing costs, boosting performance, and attracting global investments to drive Africa’s digital transformation.
Backed by the WIOCC Group, OAfabric provides improved access to internet ecosystems, African Internet eXchange Points [IXPs], and seamless cloud integration, benefiting both local and global enterprises. Hosted in OADC’s data centres, it offers IX peering, virtual interconnection, cloud access, and site-to-site connectivity, ensuring flexible, scalable, and secure digital solutions tailored to Africa’s needs.
