OPPO Kenya has launched the new OPPO A6x series, expanding its A Series range in the local smartphone market. The device targets users who want long battery life, steady performance, and a smooth screen at an affordable price point.
The launch comes as Kenyan consumers continue to demand phones that can support long workdays, social media use, streaming, and mobile payments without frequent charging. The A6x was designed with these everyday needs in mind.
“At the heart of the OPPO A6x is a focus on battery life, performance that stays smooth over time, and a strong viewing experience,” said Fredrique Achieng, PR Manager at OPPO Kenya. “This reflects our effort to make dependable technology more accessible in the market.”

The OPPO A6x runs on the Snapdragon 685 4G Mobile Platform and uses ColorOS 15, based on Android 15. OPPO also includes its 48-Month Fluency Protection, which helps the phone stay responsive even after years of regular use.
Battery performance stands out as a key feature. The phone packs a 6,100mAh battery that supports all-day use and retains capacity for up to five years. OPPO also adds reverse wired charging, enabling users to charge other devices when needed.
The A6x features a 120Hz ultra-bright display that delivers smoother scrolling and clearer visuals for video and gaming. On the camera side, AI-powered imaging tools enhance clarity, colour balance, and low-light shots, reinforcing OPPO’s focus on mobile photography.
OPPO offers the A6x in two variants. The 4GB RAM with 128GB storage model retails at KES 15,999, while the 4GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs KES 19,999.
With the A6x launch, OPPO is reinforcing its position in Kenya’s competitive mid-range smartphone segment, where durability, battery life, and value increasingly shape buying decisions.
