SABC Partners with Mangomolo for Online Videos

Mangomolo, a leading full-service OTT video platform, has partnered with the South African Broadcasting Corporation [SABC] to enhance its SABC+ service. This collaboration allows SABC+ to extend its reach to internet-connected devices, supporting 7 TV channels and 19 radio stations with features like on-demand content and offline viewing.

Mangomolo’s involvement includes an end-to-end ecosystem, with Broadsmart managing project operations, and Castoola and Triton Digital handling advertising for video and audio respectively. This partnership marks Mangomolo’s expansion into South Africa, aiding service providers in maximizing audience and revenue with a comprehensive OTT platform and technical expertise.

SABC’s COO, Mr. Lungile Binza, emphasized the seamless integration and flexibility in reaching audiences across devices. Mangomolo manages over a billion streams monthly, serving over 30 million viewers worldwide, and offers a range of monetization and automation capabilities.
