Safaricom through its youth platform Safaricom Hook, has launched the second edition of the Safaricom Hook Circle at Kenyatta University Main Campus. The two-day bootcamp, running from 27th to 28th February 2025, targets 2,000 in-person participants and over 200,000 virtual attendees. It focuses on three key areas: technology, career, and culture.
According to Fawzia Ali, Safaricom’s Chief Consumer Business Officer, the initiative connects young Kenyans with opportunities for growth in their areas of interest. This edition builds on last year’s success in Chuka, which featured discussions on financial literacy, tech skills, career development, and culture as an income source.
