SAP has recently announced the appointment of Kholiwe Makhohliso as the new Managing Director for Southern Africa. With her extensive technology background and leadership experience, Makhohliso joins the company at a crucial juncture.
Sergio Maccotta, Senior Vice-President for Middle East South and Africa at SAP, recognizes the significance of this appointment, considering the current landscape of organizations in Southern Africa. Makhohliso brings over 20 years of technology experience to her new role, having held leadership positions in both the public and private sectors. Her career began as an auditor, and she has since worked in IT, consulting, and sales for renowned companies such as Accenture and Oracle.
Prior to joining SAP, Makhohliso served as the Vice-President and Country Managing Director for Software AG, a German software company, where she also sat on the Executive Director board. Additionally, Makhohliso is deeply committed to education and youth skills development. She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Sparrow Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education and learning opportunities to disadvantaged South African youth.
