SeamlessHR, an end-to-end HR technology company, has called on Kenyan organisations to weave technology especially embedded finance into their core operations to improve productivity, efficiency and employee well-being.
The message anchored a C-suite executive roundtable hosted by SeamlessHR on 3 June 2025 at Radisson Blu, Nairobi. Under the theme “Scaling Business Performance: Strengthening Operational Sustainability and Workforce Productivity.” Senior leaders from agriculture, manufacturing, private security and outsourcing discussed practical, tech-driven routes to sustainable growth.

“The organisations that will lead tomorrow are embedding agile, integrated solutions today,” said Kris Senanu, Founder & Chairman, Blackrock Capital.
Embedded finance integrates services such as salary advances, savings plans and micro-loans directly into HR systems. It eliminates separate, manual interactions with banks or lenders. For employees, this means fast, transparent access to funds; for employers, lower absenteeism and higher retention.
“With a US $200 billion investment horizon, much of it in Africa. The Gates Foundation is partnering with SeamlessHR to extend financial tools to business-critical workers.” Noted Lynn Eisenhart, Deputy Director, Strategic Investment Fund, Gates Foundation.

According to SeamlessHR Co-founder & CTO Deji Lana. Harvard research shows that giving employees timely access to earned wages can cut attrition by 23 percent. “Embedding tools like Earned Wage Access and digital savings into payroll delivers real financial inclusion at scale,” he added.
A closing panel featuring SeamlessHR, the Gates Foundation, Gardaworld Africa and the Kenya Association of Manufacturers agreed that reimagining financial services inside HR platforms is now essential to workforce performance and long-term competitiveness.
SeamlessHR’s embedded finance suite is already in use across leading African businesses, supporting thousands of employees while helping organisations turn human capital management into a strategic growth engine.
