Zoho, a renowned global technology company, recently introduced Zoho Practice, a comprehensive practice management solution designed for accountants. Zoho Finance Platform’s growth, now with over 230 new extensions and a dedicated developer portal, is enhanced by this launch.
Additionally, Zoho announced significant growth in Kenya, with its Finance Platform reporting a 102% year-over-year increase in new customers. Zoho Books’ success, a leading VAT-compliant accounting tool integrating with Kenya’s TIMS, significantly contributed to this growth.
“Our latest offerings in Kenya aims to enhance business customization and efficiency. We are committed to help accountants optimize operations for superior client service,” stated Veerakumar Natarajan, Country Head of Zoho Kenya.
Zoho Finance Platform has evolved over 15 years from a single invoicing product into a comprehensive finance and operations suite. The platform’s ecosystem has rapidly expanded through partnerships with integration partners, system integrators, and accounting firms. The platform’s MEA customer base grew by 50%, while its global accounting network expanded by 63%.
The newly launched Developer Portal enables developers to create customized solutions, automate processes, and publish extensions in the Zoho Marketplace, enhancing the platform’s flexibility and adaptability for businesses.
Zoho Practice emerges as a modern solution addressing the evolving demands in the accounting sector. Accountants today are expected to provide more than traditional services like bookkeeping and tax filing; they are also anticipated to offer business insights, such as cost-cutting strategies and growth acceleration methods. Zoho Practice, equipped with features for client and document management, task management, timesheets, and billing, addresses these needs. It also includes unique, industry-first capabilities designed for distributed firms, like advanced collaboration tools and AI-driven anomaly detection to promptly identify and correct inconsistencies in client transactions.
By integrating seamlessly with Zoho Books and Zoho Expense, Zoho Practice serves as a centralized repository, facilitating interoperability between an accountant’s practice and their client’s finance operations. This integration empowers accountants to enhance their service offerings and foster firm growth.
