Airtel Kenya has unveiled a new free data campaign called “GB kwa GB,” aimed at boosting the digital revolution in Kenya. This initiative allows new and existing Airtel customers upgrading to smartphones to experience the enhanced Airtel network.
Campaign Highlights:
Offer: Free 1GB data every week for six months.
Eligibility:
- New customers joining Airtel with a new smartphone.
- Existing customers upgrading from feature phones to smartphones.
- Customers switching from 3G devices to 4G or 5G smartphones.
Activation: Top up a minimum of KES 50 weekly. Check eligibility by dialing 5448#.
Data Validity: Free 1GB data is valid for 3 days.
Airtel has consistently led in technology innovations, including the ‘Internet Mashinani’ initiative, eSIM, VoLTE, and the 5G network. They have also embarked on the largest network expansion in their history, launching 628 new sites this year alone.
