Jeep Arrives in Kenya as Urysia Becomes Multi-Brand Stellantis Dealer

Urysia Limited has entered a new phase in its evolution. Long known as the home of Peugeot in Kenya. The company has now added Jeep and Citroën to its stable, marking its transition into a full multi-brand dealership. The move signals a broader shift in Kenya’s automotive sector, where consumer expectations around choice, service and technology continue to rise.

The launch follows the global merger that created Stellantis, one of the world’s biggest automotive groups. That consolidation has given Urysia access to a wider pipeline of models and technologies. This a quiet but important advantage in a market where product cycles and features are becoming more competitive.

Kenya Automotive Market Sees Urysia Pivot to Multi-Brand Strategy with Stellantis

By bringing Jeep, Citroën and Peugeot under one roof, Urysia is positioning itself to serve multiple customer segments at once. Adventure seekers get Jeep’s off-road pedigree. Urban drivers gain from Citroën’s comfort-first engineering; and long-time Peugeot buyers retain access to a familiar, versatile lineup. For a market increasingly shaped by lifestyle preferences and financing flexibility, this multi-lane approach is timely.

The company has also strengthened its after-sales ecosystem an area where many dealerships still struggle. Urysia now offers dedicated service centers, nationwide partner workshops and mobile units. This is part of a wider trend in Kenya’s mobility sector: service convenience is becoming as important as vehicle performance.

Urysia Managing Director Claude Mwende said the expanded portfolio will meet the needs of families, SMEs, fleet operators and ride-hailing drivers. He also highlighted new financing and leasing options a nod to the growing influence of structured ownership models in the region.

With Kenya showing increased demand for SUVs, lifestyle pickups and low-emission technologies. The addition of Stellantis brands places Urysia at a strategic intersection. The company can now introduce a new generation of vehicles built on global platforms that are EV-ready and efficiency-focused.

The expanded showroom features Jeep’s Grand Cherokee, Wrangler and Gladiator, Citroën’s C3 and Aircross range, and Peugeot’s long-standing lineup.
