NCBA Opens 97th Branch in Kerugoya

NCBA Bank has launched a new branch at the Oasis Building in Kerugoya town, Kirinyanga County. This marks its 97th branch in Kenya. The branch was inaugurated by Governor Anne Waiguru in an event attended by NCBA Group Chairman James Ndegwa, senior bank officials, and local leaders.

Mr. Ndegwa highlighted the branch as part of NCBA’s retail expansion strategy and its commitment to enhancing accessibility for customers. He noted the significance of Kirinyaga’s agricultural economy, with 87% of its population engaged in farming, contributing 72% to household incomes.

The Kerugoya branch will offer personalized banking services, including savings and current accounts, loans, investment solutions, asset financing, and digital services like mobile and internet banking.

Governor Waiguru encouraged residents to utilize NCBA’s services to support local businesses and the county’s economy. She emphasized the positive impact on financial inclusion.

Equipped with modern technology and staffed by nine employees. The branch aims to deliver high-quality customer service and foster economic growth in the region. Additionally, NCBA reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability by planting trees in Kerugoya and donating 60 trees to the county government.
