Safaricom has announced a 25% discount on all new fibre connections for businesses in fibre-ready buildings over the next two months. This move aims at empowering MSMEs with affordable, reliable, and future-ready internet. The announcement came during the Nairobi edition of the Grow with Safaricom Business Forum. It is a platform designed to equip entrepreneurs with tools for sustainable growth through affordable finance, digitisation, and market access.

With data from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics showing that over 70% of small businesses fail within three years. This is often due to cash flow and market barriers, Safaricom is responding with solutions that enhance resilience.
These include business credit products that use transaction history and real-time performance data to provide practical, flexible, and accessible financing tailored to entrepreneurs’ needs.
