Vertiv™ PowerIT Delivers High-Density Power for Data Centers

Vertiv has introduced the new Vertiv™ PowerIT rack power distribution units [PDUs] to support the rising power demands of AI and high-performance computing [HPC]. The units offer advanced power management, flexible designs, and stronger components for reliable scaling of data centre power. Basic, monitored, and switched models are now available in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

With server racks now exceeding 25 kW, data centres need robust, high-capacity solutions. The Vertiv PowerIT rack PDU uses three-phase power distribution [208V Delta for North America, 240/415V WYE for EMEA/international], which balances loads, reduces circuit risks, and improves stability.

“AI and HPC are driving massive power needs. Our new PowerIT rack PDUs give customers the reliability and flexibility to scale efficiently.” noted Andrea Ferro, VP for power & IT systems in EMEA.
