TrafficGuard, a digital ad verification and fraud prevention platform, has stepped up its presence in the United States as part of a broader global expansion plan. The company’s CEO, Mathew Ratty, has relocated to its New York office to lead the next phase of growth in one of the world’s largest ad markets.
The move formalises an existing U.S. presence, where commercial and customer teams were already in place. It also signals a shift toward more local leadership as advertisers face rising levels of invalid traffic and increasingly complex fraud threats.
Ratty will focus on meeting partners and clients across the country. He will gather direct feedback on campaign performance, traffic quality, and budget losses. The aim is to improve how companies detect and respond to non-genuine clicks and impressions.

“We’re seeing a rapid increase in sophisticated ad fraud in the United States,” Ratty said. “For large advertisers, the issue is no longer just about blocking bad clicks. It’s about protecting decision-making and growth efficiency.”

Industry analysts note that as digital ad spend grows, so do attempts to exploit it. Automation and AI-driven media buying have increased speed and scale, but they have also created new openings for fraudulent activity. This has pushed more brands to seek independent verification tools.
TrafficGuard also strengthened its leadership in 2025 with the appointment of Miguel Lopes as chief product officer, based in the United States. The company says the role will focus on faster product development and support for enterprise clients managing large, multi-channel campaigns.
Chief marketing officer Chad Kinlay said the expansion reflects changing market needs. “As AI accelerates automation across media buying, marketers need independent validation to ensure performance data can be trusted,” he said.
