VFS Global has announced the launch of Visa Application Centres in Nairobi and Mombasa. They will offer Kenyan residents a more streamlined and convenient process for submitting UK visa applications. As of 22 October 2024, Kenyan travellers to the UK will be able to book appointments directly with VFS Global. They will be able to complete their visa applications, with a variety of additional services designed to make the process smoother and more accessible.

The Visa Application Centres offer a range of optional services aimed at enhancing customer convenience. These include:
- Document upload assistance
- Prime Time appointments for submissions outside of regular business hours
- SMS notifications for real-time updates
- Document checking services
- Courier passport return after visa decisions are made
In Nairobi, applicants can take advantage of the innovative On Demand Mobile Visa service, allowing them to submit their UK visa applications from home, the office, or any location of their choice. Additionally, Customers retain their passport after completing biometric enrollment and resubmit it only after a visa decision is made through the Keep My Passport While Applying service.
You can easily book these services through VFS Global’s website or at the Visa Application Centres during appointments. Importantly, these optional services enhance convenience but do not influence visa processing times or outcomes.
