WTTC & VFS Global Partner for Travel SME Growth

In a major step to support small and medium-sized enterprises – SMEs in travel. The World Travel & Tourism Council – WTTC has launched the Together in Travel initiative. VFS Global joins as a Founding Partner, bringing its global presence and expertise to the table.

With over 200 companies represented, WTTC is the leading voice for the private travel and tourism sector. The new initiative aims to help SMEs grow by giving them access to training, digital tools, investment opportunities. In addtion to sustainable business strategies.

VFS Global will support SMEs across its network in 150+ countries, helping them innovate, grow affordably, and contribute to sustainable tourism. The company also champions partnerships with local, women-led, and indigenous businesses to foster inclusive development.

WTTC President & CEO Julia Simpson welcomed VFS Global, noting that their global reach and experience will help shape a stronger future for SMEs in travel. The initiative also named Andrea Grisdale, CEO of IC Bellagio, as Vice Chair. With 25+ years in luxury travel, she will help guide the programme’s efforts in promoting inclusivity and resilience.
